Kris A&P Stock Cars
The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, better known as A&P, was at one time the largest grocery retailer in the U.S. The first car on this page is the only A&P variation described in the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains.
A&P stock car; white; red roof; red and white A&P logos; sliding red stock doors; full ladders. This is the only variation in Greenberg's.

A&P stock car; white; no A&P logos; sliding red stock doors; full ladders. Possible factory error. No logos variation not in Greenberg's. Photo courtesy of the T. Cosgrove collection.
In the description, "N.S." means near side and "F.S." far side. "N&W" is Norfolk & Western. This is presumably a two-sided Kris test car. On this side is A&P and the other side Norfolk & Western. Photo and description courtesy of the B. Batt collection.
