Kris Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Boxcars
The Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway, also known as the Chicago Outer Belt, operated between Waukegan, Illinois and Gary, Indiana. There are no Elgin, Joliet and Eastern listings in the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains. Instead, one listing appears under Chicago Outer Belt Line. Per Greenberg's, 100 boxcars were produced.
