Kusan Air Force Set
Kusan battery-operated train set number BO-122. The train consisted of four pieces - a U.S. Air Force four-wheel switcher, radar scanner car, missile flatcar and caboose. Variations noted below. Included with the set was enough plastic track to make a figure eight - 14 curved track sections and one crossover.
Kusan catalog number 22. U.S. Air Force 8900 battery-operated four-wheel switcher. Battery compartment access, for two C-cell batteries, is on the bottom of the locomotive. The black switch on top controls power and direction - forward, off and reverse. Other four-wheel battery-powered switchers may be seen at this link.
Kusan catalog number K-805B. U.S. Air Force 120 Radar Scanner. The radar dish is stationary and does not rotate. "RADAR SCANNER 120" and "DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE KEEP AWAY" are printed on the other side of the car. This variation has the regular radar scanner body.
