Here are some layout treasures. The buildings in this scene were originally on my first toy train layout 50 years ago. They were crafted out of box board and then hand-decorated by my Mom. In this scene you can see the Bakery and General Store in front, the rooftop of a partially obscured residence behind, and a church and another residence with a fancy front porch across the street. The buildings have held up remarkably well over the years. The painted Plasticville people in this urban scene also came from my original layout.
