Lionel # 175 Rocket Launcher

A postwar Lionel # 175 Rocket Launcher prepares to move a U.S. Navy rocket into position on the launch pad. A timed controller can then start the countdown and cause the rocket to fire. The searchlight tower just to the right of the Rocket Launcher is part of the postwar Lionel # 299 Code Transmitter Set. Seen in the distance are two other postwar Lionel accessories: a # 197 Rotating Radar Antenna with a gray platform and a green # 128 Animated Newsstand.
