Unique Art Manufacturing Company Steam Engine
Unique Art Manufacturing Company, Unique Lines 0-4-0 tinplate steam engine and tender made in 1950. Note the year of manufacture matches the locomotive number. The motor is robust, but I replaced all the engine wiring because the original insulation had hardened and cracked. Like some Marx engines, this locomotive has difficulty navigating Lionel switches because the large gears molded on the inside of two drive wheels bump the switch sides, often causing a derailment.
