Williams Electric Trains Anodized Gold Passenger Set
More information on this set requested. Photos courtesy of the B. DeBrooke collection.
The unpainted locomotive and tender is the first brass Hudson that Williams produced. The aluminum passenger cars are anodized gold. They were made from the Williams 1776 set, which was produced in 1976. The sides were made smooth so decals could lay flat.
The cars were made with the earliest Williams aluminum passenger car truck configuration. Note the rivets used for holding parts together. Later trucks utilized screws instead of rivets.
