Kris Undecorated Rolling Stock
Kris Model Trains also produced undecorated rolling stock in already built and kit versions. Other blank cars may have been made to test the plastic. There are two Blank boxcars and one Blank clear stock car listed in the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains.
Undecorated boxcar; milky white; sliding black panel doors; full ladders; postwar Lionel bar end caboose trucks. M. Smith believes this car resulted when a color change took place during the manufacturing process. The car is translucent milky white, with no marbling of colors, so a clear plastic was used to clean out the machine during a color change. A brake wheel, chassis, doors and trucks were installed. The car came in a white box. Milky white boxcar with panel doors variation not documented in Greenberg's. Photo courtesy of the M. Smith collection.
