Kris Amphenol ASD Line Boxcars

In 1967 the Amphenol Corporation, a manufacturer of electrical connectors, merged with Bunker Ramo Corporation, a maker of specialized computers. Amphenol reportedly had a side plastics molding business, of which Andy Kriswalus contracted with to produce some Kris Model Trains body shells. Boxcars were reportedly given to Amphenol sales staff at a meeting in Florida. The road number on the car is the company phone number. Variations noted are from the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains. An Amphenol gondola was also produced.
