Kris Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Locomotives

Kris Model Trains decorated Lionel MPC-era F3 locomotive body shells for the 1979 holiday season. These body shells could then be fitted on a Lionel MPC F3 chassis. Different shades of metallic gold have been observed. It's believed that at least some of the shading differences are due to aging/storage conditions over 40 plus years. "KMT," "Kris Model Trains," and "Endicott NY" appear on both sides of the shells. Many of the body shells have been observed with a wreath on the front of the cab, just below the headlight, but one example has been documented without a wreath. No body shells or locomotives are listed in Greenberg's.
