Kusan Mexican Large Boxcars and Stock Cars
On this page are examples of near-scale boxcars and stock cars produced in Mexico. Complete cars are fitted with K-Series-style plastic bases specially molded to fit the larger scale bodies. The cars are equipped with plastic K-Series trucks and wheels. Photos courtesy of the G. Clarke collection.
In addition to the cars pictured below, a green M-K-T stock car and light blue Southern Railway boxcar were also produced (photos requested).
Kusan Mexican production New Haven boxcar. White molded plastic body painted orange with black ends and roof; black and white lettering and graphics; black panel doors. Inside the car, a blue figure is affixed to the base. There is a small white rectangular "Mexico" sticker on the car bottom.

Kusan Mexican prototype Chicago, Burlington and Quincy (CB&Q) 32066 Burlington Route stock car. Painted bright yellow with a tuscan roof; black, red and white lettering and graphics; tuscan stock doors. Inside the car, a red figure is affixed to the base. There is a brake wheel on one end and a small white rectangular "Mexico" sticker on the car bottom. This was reportedly the CB&Q stock car prototype for model number CGP-100, which is specified in a company brochure as yellow and black.
