Kusan-Auburn Texas Special Passenger Cars

Texas Special passenger cars have been documented with and without window silhouettes. AMT Texas Special passenger cars have aluminum colored roofs. The cars pictured below have smooth red roofs without window silhouettes.

Kusan-Auburn catalog number 1004. Both sides of a Texas Special Crockett Vista Dome. Each side has a different window configuration. Side 1 has nine windows, starting from the left - one small, three large and five small. Side 2 has seven windows - six large and one small. Also, the window configurations are from two different roomette cars rather than a Vista Dome. Though incorrect roomette sides were used on this car, the correct Crockett plates were installed.
