Marx Trains
Louis Marx and Company produced clockwork and electric toy trains from 1934 to 1975. Train sets were sold under Allstate, Marlines, Linemar and Stream Line brand names.
Marx Southern Pacific 6000 AA diesel units with silver stripes. The powered unit is on the right with the larger drive wheels. Tin construction. Made between 1952 and 1954.
Marx 5590 New York Central wrecking crane with operating searchlight. Plastic cab on a cast base. The handles on the side control the boom and hook.
Marx Grand Central Station. Buff-yellow lithography. A light inside the station illuminates the red shaded windows. Offered in 1939.
