Newbraugh Brothers Toys 1983 - 2008
Some of the rolling stock on this page were derived from Frank's Roundhouse production. They were commissioned by Newbraugh Brothers Toys (NBT) of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and, where noted below, decorated by Darley Design, Dulaney Enterprises or Pleasant Valley Process (PVP) Company. NBT cars were initially sold at the Train Collectors Association York, Pennsylvania train meets. Bunk cars were decorated for Frank's Roundhouse. Some cars were commissioned for Farmers Trust and Penn State. NBT also sold lighted blinking billboards. Eventually, NBT's custom-decorated cars were sold nationally to civic groups, train clubs and private businesses through the distribution efforts of Dulaney Enterprises in the 1980's, and Mountaineer Hobbies in the 1990's. For NBT cars made before 1983, see Newbraugh Brothers Toys 1974 - 1982.
Note that the cars on this page are arranged numerically by the last four digits of the NBT number. An NBT spreadsheet has been developed, which lists factory stock numbers and other information for their production.
Special thanks to David B. Hollingsworth of St. Albans, West Virginia, who provided many of the NBT historical details above.
