Lionel # 30 Water Tower

A postwar Lionel # 30 Water Tower awaits the arrival of a steam locomotive in need of a drink. At the push of a button, the spout lowers to fill a tender with imaginary water. The spout returns to the upright position when the controller button is released. A Lionel RailScope GP-9 diesel locomotive has just arrived at the Plasticville Junction switch tower.
