Lionel # 375 Motorized Turntable
Railroads originally used turntables to direct steam locomotives into roundhouse stalls. The postwar Lionel # 375 Motorized Turntable on my trolley line turns the trolley to occasionally service a spur line. The turntable motor was originally powered by two D cell batteries, but I adapted it to operate on a three volt power source. The yellow turntable building is similar to the one used on Lionel's postwar transfer table.
