Lionel Prewar # 300 Hell Gate Bridge
Prewar Lionel # 300 Hell Gate Bridge, modeled after its namesake steel-arch railroad bridge in New York. The Lionel bridge is large enough to accommodate standard gauge trains, but O-gauge trains also look good crossing through it. The bridge supports were made from plywood sections and assembled with wood screws. I duck under this bridge, and the trestle and girder bridge, to reach the layout control panel.
