Lionel Prewar # 313 Operating Bascule Bridge
Here is a prewar Lionel # 313 Operating Bascule Bridge on the lower level of my layout. Listen to the motor as the bridge rises, pauses in the up position, then lowers again so trains can pass through. The river under the bridge was made from aluminum foil.
